These terms apply to the website ratemaxai.com ("the website"), run by RateMax AI. By using the website you agree to them. The RateMax app on Google Play has its own terms, shown in the app and on its Google Play listing.
1. For entertainment only
Face shape, symmetry, golden ratio and other results are automated estimates made from a single photo. They depend heavily on lighting, camera angle, lens and expression, and they can be wrong. Attractiveness is subjective. Results are provided for entertainment and general self-improvement only and say nothing about your worth as a person.
2. Not medical or professional advice
Nothing on the website is medical, dermatological, cosmetic-surgery, psychological or other professional advice. Talk to a qualified professional before making decisions about your health or appearance. If you are struggling with how you feel about your looks, please reach out to someone you trust or a local support service.
3. Age
You must be at least 13 years old to use the website. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use it with a parent or guardian's permission.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- analyse photos of other people without their permission, or of anyone under 13;
- use results to bully, harass, shame or discriminate against anyone;
- break the law or anyone else's rights while using the website;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape at scale or reverse-engineer the website or its services.
5. Your photos
Photos are analysed in your browser and are not uploaded to us. See the privacy policy for details.
6. Intellectual property
The website's design, text, graphics and the RateMax name and logo belong to RateMax AI. Google MediaPipe is provided by Google under its own open-source licence. You may link to and share pages from the website.
7. No warranty and limitation of liability
The website is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent allowed by law, RateMax AI is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the website or reliance on its results.
8. Links to other sites
The website links to Google Play and other third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the website means you accept the updated terms.
